Four Evenings of Campbell and Conversation

Join us in the Garden Room of the Moorestown Community House to view and discuss four episodes in the Joseph Campbell - Bill Moyers PBS Special The Power of Myth. Filmed in the mid-eighties shortly before his death, these interviews reflect Campbell's lifetime interest in mythology. Campbell was heavily influenced by Jung's concept of the archetypes of the collective unconcious and brought his own encyclopedic knowledge of mythological themes to this understanding of the human spirit. These interviews contain discussions of timeless foundational themes which influence contemporary literary, religious, educational and psychological thinking.
