A brief history of the development of time from Zeno of Elea to the present. It will include some of the ideas of Galileo, Newton, Einstein, Heisenberg, and Smolin.

Walter Glickman:Professor of physics at Long Island University, Brooklyn, NY; His major interests are: science education, the history and philosophy of physics, and Albert Einstein. He collaborated on the award winning multi-media slide presentation VISIONS OF EINSTEIN - an introduction to Einstein's life and theories for children, and is the author of THE PHYSICS OF HIGHER EDUCATION (Holistic Education Review, 1995).
